I am Elana Snoyman, a Trauma Counsellor, with over 30 years of experience.
Trauma by its very nature, encompasses a life-threatening or life-altering event/s, that causes disfunction to our day to day coping mechanisms.
Over the years, I spent ten years working with the South African Police, assisting victims of a variety of trauma's, e.g robbery, hijacking, sexual assault, rape, domestic violence, and bereavement, to training counsellors and setting up Victim Support units at police stations.
Today, I offer one on one and family supportive counseling, whether terminal illness and bereavement, to Covid related loss, self esteem issues, to empowering victims and survivors, of all trauma, to move forward with their lives.
